About aDvANCE

aDvANCE audition date 23rd November 2025

Our aDvANCE programme is designed to prepare young dancers for future success by providing them with the necessary skills, strengths and confidence required to enter professional training.

The Programme runs for 32 weeks throughout the year and acceptance into the programme is done by audition or invitation.

The programme may include the following classes:

  • Classical and pointe – open technique and different methods e.g Vaganova
  • Repertoire – not just performing but exploring the history of repertoire
  • Character – open technique and history of ballet
  • Contemporary – including open technique, improvisation and composition
  • PBT – including stretch and strengthening
  • Rehearsals for any performance.

Our main tutors for both the part-time and full-time 2025 programme will include:

  • Classical – Kerry-Anne Gilberd
  • Stretch and Strengthen, Pointe, other Genres – Arwen Sullivan
  • Contemporary and other Genres – Jann Brouard

They will be supported by other teachers from EnPointe and guest tutors.

Optional Syllabus classes will be available to aDvANCE students at a discounted rate or included in the full-time programme, however you do not need to be a student at EnPointe to be part of aDvANCE.
